Only at the Oscars πŸŽž

Leonardo DiCaprio Oscar

The Oscars, one of the most highly anticipated events in many actors, actresses and directors schedules. It is also one of the most exciting nights of the year for us celebrity followers!

Chris Rock was chosen as host of this year’s event and he did not disappoint. Opening the show with a monologue about lack of diversity within the nominees, he said: β€œIf they nominated hosts I wouldn’t even get this job so you’d be watching Neil Patrick Harris right now.” Slightly controversial but he no doubt got his point across!

And after 6 years of failed nominations, Leonardo DiCaprio has finally won Best Actor! With a touching speech thanking the people in his life and an emotional Kate Winslet in the audience, Leo was definitely the king of the Oscars last night<3

Throughout award season we have seen some amazing looks, and last night saw some of the best dresses yet. Here are some of my favourites from the red carpet:

Chrissy Teigen – Marchesa

Chrissy Teigan Oscars 2016

This sheer red lace dress hugs her beautiful baby bump perfectly.

Β Jennifer Lawrence – Dior

Jennifer Lawrence Oscars 2016

Jennifer does it again with this luscious lace gown.

Saoirse Ronan – Calvin Klein

Saoirse glittered in green as a tribute to her Irish family.
