Outfit of the Day πŸ’πŸ½

As much as I love my thick black hooded coat, after wearing it for days I fancied a change this morning. Luckily the sun is shining bright but it is still freeezzingggg, so my outfit of the day has gone for in between: wrapped up but a little less black (for a change).

In winter, I get into a habit of just wearing black and grey, and as much as I love clothes in both these shades, there are some days that are just made for some colour, and today is definitely one of those days. It may still be cold but it’s Friday, and I wanted to make an effort.

Yes, my jeans are black but it is still winter after all, so these are part of a perfect combination of dark and light shades in this outfit. These are from Dorothy Perkins and have lasted me such a long time. They have impressed me with how little they’ve faded over the time I’ve had them, much less than the ones I previously purchased from Topshop.

My top was a style steal from Primark at just Β£3!!! It has a suede feel front with a soft material ruffle hem, which makes the top stand out as it is quite a plain pale pink top otherwise. It adds elegance to it and means it can be worn on smart or casual occasions.

My coat is my favourite part of this outfit. As it is not raining today (yet anyway🀞🏼) it is perfect for still wrapping up warm yet adding a bit more colour to my outfit that wouldn’t be there if I wore a black jacket. Although this outfit would look nice with a black leather jacket, this coat is great for staying toasty whilst looking super stylish. This coat was from Primark and is no longer on sale, however it can be easily created with a camel coat (which are particularly on trend at the moment and available in many stores) teamed up with a faux fur stole, which are also available in many places.

My shoes are my comfy pair of loafers that I would wear everyday if I could. They are smart but still look great with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. They are long lasting and a definite investment piece from Topshop.

Outfit of the Day πŸ’πŸ½

Autumn is here. This means dark mornings and ever-changing weather, soΒ if you’re indecisive like me it becomes so hard to decide an outfit each day! Long sleeve or short sleeve? Coat or no coat? It is all about buying versatile pieces that will also last you throughout the winter.

My outfits of the dayΒ can be worn in all weather, along with the right shoes, accessories and jackets. In autumn, it is not yet cold enough for big boots and chunky socks, so make the most of wearing your best shoes with your outfit without getting freezing cold toes!

For my first outfit of the day I have taken a simple white t-shirt and teamed it with the best and most shiny jeans I have ever seen! I have always loved Topshop jeans as they have a range of styles to choose from and are super comfy but these are completely different to any I have worn before. Don’t be afraid to wear bright clothes. As they are jeans you can tone them down with a plain top, such as a grey or a white one like me. They are comfy and look great so dare to be different and go for glitter on your jeans!

My second outfit of the day is all part of the Zara TRF collection. The top is in fact a bodysuit, which I love for wearing under a pair of high waist trousers. Bodysuits are great as they can be dressed up with a pair of shorts or a skirt or dressed down with a pair of jeans. These black culottes are a simple piece that can be matched with a variety of tops. This makes them so versatile when it comes to the weather as like bodysuits you can dress them up with a pair of heels or dress them down with a pair trainers and a comfy top.

Outfit of the Day πŸ’πŸ½

So I woke up this morning with the sun shining through my curtains and I immediately had a panic. It has been cold for so long that I have continued to buy winter clothes and I suddenly realised that I had no idea what to wear in this warm weather!

First rule for the sunshine is definitely colour. Spend winter wearing as much black and grey as possible but always make sure you have your summer colours prepared for a day like today. Cream is one of my favourite colours to wear in summer and this bargain top from Primark (down to just Β£3!!!) is perfect for warmer days. Being a light material it is cool and comfortable to wear, with the double layering adding a bit of extra flowing detail.

Being just the beginning of this year’s summer season, I am always afraid to go straight into showing off some flesh. So a pair of blue ripped jeans are perfect as they look great and are a lot cooler than the thick black jeans I have been wearing all winter!

Shoes are a difficult part of a summer outfit. If you are like me and hate wearing anything on your feet when it is warm, it can become an issue when finding a suitable pair and the right colour. A white pair of Birkenstocks are ideal as they are comfy and they go with most colours.

Wearing this outfit today has made me so excited for summer and ready for a much needed shopping spree… ❀

Outfit of the Day πŸ’πŸ½

Getting ready for a night out is always a challenge for me as I am so indecisive. In the week leading up to the night, I am constantly thinking (and panicking) about what I’m going to wear!

This playsuit was perfect for me to wear as it wasn’t too dressy for a normal night out but it still has class and is so so comfy! I love the Bardot style and the pulled in waist makes a stand out silhouette.

Stripes are my favourite trend of the moment. These vertical stripes help to elongate the body and can therefore make you look taller. This is always a bonus for me ❀ (shoutout to all the small girls out there)

You may be wondering where this perfect piece is from. Well that is the best bit…it was a beautiful bargain in Primark for just Β£10! It was definitely an essential for my wardrobe ❀

Outfit of the Day πŸ’πŸ½

I’m back! πŸ˜€ The beginning of 2016 has been pretty busy, meaning I haven’t been able to post yet. So here is my first Outfit of the Day of the year!

Whether you’re going out for a fancy night out or walking the dog, I think it is great to figure out your perfect look no matter what the event. But at this time of the year, choosing what to wear in the morning is a tricky decision, especially with this ever-changing weather. Looking out the window it may look sunny, but step out that door and prepare to be blown away by the wind. So how do you dress to suit both winter and summer weather combined?

As it is still cold but I don’t want to look too wintery, I have chosen a beige jacket. This is perfect as it is a neutral colour so will match with lots of different items. Also, with it being a shorter jacket it is ideal for keeping warm yet showing off the rest of your outfit at the same time. This is one of my favourite items for the transition from winter to spring and even better, it was a bargain from George by ASDA! Teamed up with my bobble hat (which is perfect for hiding a bad hair day) I feel ready for the sunshine whilst still keeping warm!

Black jeans are a must in every wardrobe and these particular ones are from Dorothy Perkins. They are one of the only pairs of black jeans that I have bought that haven’t lost their colour and for that reason they are an essential part of my wardrobe.

Stripes are the pattern of the season, I absolutely love them. This top combines this with another popular style of the season – lace up. I love how simple yet stylish this top is and is definitely one of my favourite purchases.

Lastly, my favourite part of the outfit – my over the knee boots<3. These are one of the best purchases I have ever made and are great for both day and night. Comfy yet a hint of sassiness is definitely one of my favourite looks ever.
